§ Paid internship vs. unpaid internship – Is there a difference? What’s preferred/allowed?
§ Earning academic credit – what’s involved for the site supervisor?
o What are the roles and responsibilities of a site supervisor/employer?
§ Mentor, teach, help develop soft skills and hard skills
o Reality of an internship
§ Intern role and what they are required to do if they’re earning academic credit
§ Address possible concerns of a site supervisor
o Training help - address ideas for sites to do with their intern(s)
§ Initial meeting with student and goal setting
§ Learning about the organization and intern duties
