Interpretations of Relationships Between Plants, Greek Mythology and Art (2-part Lecture/workshop
This two-part class will focus on the fascinating historical meanings associated with different plants and their use in art. The first half will be a lecture, and in the second half students will draw or paint a mythological tale in relation to its associated plant and its meanings. Dr Planchuelo is a widely published agronomist and botanist who has discovered and identified 10 new plant species. She is also an artist, and owns Lulu's Frozen Yogurt in Fulton with her family. Ages 20 and up.
