William Woods and Callaway Chamber of Commerce present Leadership Series Part Two: Importance of Leadership Skills, Training and Education in business.
This presentation will be focusing on the importance of leadership skills, training and education in business, and the opportunities WWU can offer the community in those areas.
About Our Speakers: Scott Zimmerman is the Instructor of Leadership and Military Studies who currently serves in the School of Business and Technology at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. Prior to joining William Woods University, Scott served as a full-time Lieutenant Colonel in the Missouri Army National Guard.
He currently oversees the Missouri National Guard Show-Me GOLD program at William Woods and is the coordinator for the Triumph Program, a dual-credit partnership with the Missouri Military Academy.
Scott is currently pursuing a PhD in Higher Education Leadership and Management and owns Zimmerman Strategies, a strategic planning consulting firm.
Dr. Forsha is an Associate Professor who currently serves as the Director of the School of Business and Technology at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri.
Prior to joining William Woods University, Dr. Forsha served as a campus director for Webster University and taught in their School of Business and Technology.
He has presented at various conferences including the Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry's Annual Convention, the Midwest Academy of Management's Annual Conference, and the Philosophy of Management's International Conference.
His areas of research include ethics in leadership, culture and leadership, practical reasoning and ethical decision-making.
