Administrative Assistant

Classification: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour/$17.33 per hour after completion of introductory period
Hours: 40 per week, M-F

- Serves as the receptionist for the office, greeting visitors and applicants
- Answers phones, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and prepares messages
- Sort incoming mail, packages, and faxes, deliver it to the appropriate department or individual, and process outgoing mail
- Prepares packets for board meetings and other meetings as requested
- Assists in follow up or identification of property maintenance issues; manage maintenance and housekeeping schedules
- Maintain bank deposits and records
- Oversees and maintains stock inventory
- Purchases supplies, materials, and other items for agency
- Reconciles bills, invoices, and other payment records
- Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of agency forms and correspondence
- Copies, sorts, and files physical and electronic records
- Performs qualitative and quantitative analysis of scanned document images to assure accuracy and legibility maintained in accordance with agency policies
- Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment
- Assists with agency and community events, up to and including set up, tear down, and other clerical duties as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years of experience in a clerical role and customer service
