Job Title: Lunchroom Monitor / Recess Monitor
Location: Kingdom Christian Academy

Kingdom Christian Academy is looking for Classroom Monitors and Recess Monitors to join our team. These positions are ideal for college students, retirees, or individuals who enjoy working with children and want to contribute to a positive school environment.

Responsibilities:

Lucnhroom Monitor:

• Supervise students during lunchtime, ensuring safety and proper behavior.
• Help maintain a clean and orderly lunchroom environment.
• Encourage respectful behavior and positive interactions among students.
• Assist students with opening food items if needed and ensure all students have adequate seating.
• Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff members.

Recess Monitor:

• Supervise students during recess, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Encourage positive play and conflict resolution.
• Ensure students follow school rules during outdoor playtime.
• Report any concerns or incidents to the appropriate staff members.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children preferred, but not required.
• Dependable, responsible, and able to handle various situations in a calm manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Must enjoy working with children and creating a positive environment.
