Callaway Chamber of Commerce and Fulton Area Development Foundation Celebrate Community Investment
CALLAWAY COUNTY, MO – The Callaway Chamber of Commerce and the Fulton Area Development Foundation (FADF) are honored to be among five local organizations selected to receive grant funding through The Callaway Bank's partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines) Member Impact Fund, bringing a total of $186,000 in community investment to Callaway County.
The Callaway Chamber of Commerce was awarded $16,000 to support its Show-Me Innovation Pitch Competition, an initiative that encourages entrepreneurship, fosters innovation, and provides aspiring business owners with the opportunity to develop and grow their ideas.
The Fulton Area Development Foundation received $40,000 to support housing development, furthering efforts to address one of the community's most pressing economic development priorities by expanding housing opportunities within Callaway County.
Other organizations receiving funding include Brick District Playhouse, SERVE, Inc., and the YMCA of Callaway County, with grants supporting children's theater programming, food pantry expansion, and the YMCA's community pool campaign.

In announcing this year's grants, Kimberly Barnes, President and CEO of The Callaway Bank, reflected on the impact of these investments, stating, "The future is good in Callaway County."
