First Christian Church of Fulton to Host Lenten Lunches

The First Christian Church (DoC) of Fulton, MO is hosting a series of five community Lenten Lunches at noon each Wednesday beginning February 25, 2026 and ending on March 25, 2026. This ecumenical outreach event will discuss the book The Return of the Prodigal Son by Henri Nouwen. Participating churches are the First Christian Church, Heartland Church, Second Christian Church, St. Peter’s Catholic Church, and Journey Church.  Each Wednesday one of these churches will prepare a meal and present a section of The Return of the Prodigal Son.
 
A free will offering is taken at each meal, with the proceeds going to a local non-profit agency selected by the Lenten Lunch participants. The community is invited to attend – lunch is no cost and no reservation is needed.
