Tickets available for CMFCAA’s ‘Legacy of Love’ Gala
Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association (CMFCAA) would like to invite the community to its "Legacy of Love" Gala, an enchanting evening where guests will step into a world of whimsy and wonder. This year’s event, themed "A Dream is Only the Beginning," will take place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at Capitol Plaza Hotel, 415 W. McCarty St., Jefferson City.
Tickets are $60 and can be purchased at mofosteradopt.com/gala. Ticket sales will close Nov. 4, so be sure to get them early so you don’t miss this special evening!
The event promises to be an evening filled with inspiration, entertainment, and purpose. It will be filled with exquisite dining, live music, and unique auction items. It will also feature a triumph-over-adversity story by Dr. John "Push" Gaines, who inspired families at our summer R.E.A.L. Conference.
The Gala is CMFCAA's main fundraising event of the year, supporting vital services for foster, adoptive, and kinship families within a 24-county area. The funds raised will directly impact CMFCAA’s mission to advocate for children, strengthen families, and change lives through safe, nurturing homes and heartfelt adoptions.
The evening starts with a 5:30 p.m. welcoming reception and silent auction. Dinner and the program will follow, offering guests the chance to connect with the CMFCAA community and learn more about the organization's mission and accomplishments. Among other things, guests can purchase a chance to win a “golden ticket.”
We encourage people to stay after the program to dance the evening away to the music of BootCut, an energetic rock cover band.
CMFCAA is a rapidly growing 501(c)3 organization serving 24 counties in Mid-Missouri. Since 2007, CMFCAA has provided free services to foster, adoptive, and kinship families. Its programs include training for prospective foster/adoptive parents, Begin Again Backpacks for children entering foster care, Odyssey respite events, the Trunk clothing and supplies store, the 30 Days to Family initiative, and the Community Connections Youth Project for young adults transitioning out of foster care.
