GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Reports to: Director of Creative Services

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY

As a Graphic Designer at PFSbrands, you will assist in all graphic design needs for PFSbrands, affiliated companies and events. This role will help drive sales and increase brand awareness across all of our marketing efforts by designing creative visuals to appeal to consumers and drive consumer purchases. This role will need to ensure that all creative services, whether external or internal, are executed in such a way that adheres to the company’s core values and protects the integrity of the brands. Adapting to changing schedules and meeting tight deadlines are necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist to establish creative direction and guidelines for each of our brands including strategy, design of visuals/artwork, menu creations/maintenance, packaging, literature, point of sales (POS) materials, and social media.
  • Collaborate closely with all members of the marketing team along with various departments to fully understand creative scope and needs of projects, and to develop creative strategies, plans, and execution that meet both brand and business goals.
  • Manage design orders in the PFSbrands Hub, and internal project management system, and ensure all orders are fulfilled on time and accurately.
  • Fulfill all graphic design needs for PFSbrands, affiliated companies and events.
  • Work to ensure a positive and consistent brand image across all brands and companies.
  • Manage and organize all marketing assets, sharable content and other resources.
  • Ongoing development and research of current trends to drive consumer appeal.
  • Assist in video/photography projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communication or similar related field/experience
  • Self-starter with ability to work effectively
  • - independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or issues
  • Strong work ethic, communication skills, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity
  • Deep understanding of layouts, graphic fundamentals, and typography
  • Good project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is typically performed in normal office conditions.
