JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an Electrical Drafter to join our team! In this role, you’ll develop and design layouts for electrical circuits and power distribution systems, ensuring accuracy and alignment with manufacturing standards. This position is ideal for someone experienced in CAD drafting who enjoys creating detailed, precise plans for impactful projects.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in electrical drafting, ideally with CAD tools.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s degree in drafting or related field is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of electrical equipment and circuitry is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to precision and accuracy in all design work.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to effectively work with engineers and other departments to ensure successful project outcomes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Develop layouts for electrical circuits and systems for power distribution, ensuring designs meet project requirements.
  • Prepare detailed schematics and CAD drawings using AutoCAD, and make revisions as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineers to verify material specifications and project accuracy.
  • Update bills of material as designs progress, and communicate any changes to relevant team members.
  • Forward final, checked drawings to engineers and provide ongoing updates on project progress.

  • This is a full-time position located onsite at the Switchgear Systems facility in Fulton, MO.
