Mechanical Designer

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience: 1–2 years in mechanical drafting and design (required).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; experience with Inventor or SolidWorks is a plus.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong commitment to accuracy and precision in all design work.
- Team Player: Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers and other departments.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and refine layouts for mechanical designs, ensuring alignment with project requirements and manufacturing standards.
- Create and edit detailed schematics and CAD drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
- Resolve design challenges and prepare solutions in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Update and maintain bills of material as designs evolve, ensuring accuracy and clear communication with team members.
- Forward final, checked drawings to engineers and provide updates on project progress.
